Our Judeo-Christian heritage is an essential foundation stone of our great nation and should not be held hostage to yet another effort to place guilt on future Americans for the sins of some of their ancestors.

That would be oddball Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) explaining why he cast the lone vote against hanging a plaque in the Capitol Visitors Center to acknowledge the use of slave labor in the construction of the Capitol.

I started a blog article on that Trib piece, but I couldn't finish it. I'm going thru a period where I'm not feeling very social and I'm feeling burned out on my usual areas of interest.
I'm trying to eat better and make sure I get plenty of exercise. Then maybe these aversions will pass.
