Hairston Kills Bus Stop

This is so unbelievable that I'll need to check it out tomorrow, but the Maroon is reporting that Alderman Hairston has decided to kill a #171 bus stop at 57th & University so that four parking spaces could be recreated on the street.  A University official stated in the article that 550 people use the bus stop every day.  (C-Pop at Hyde Park Progress is also justifiably outraged.)
